A few days ago i was thinking about how rad it was to get a mix tape from a friend or make one for them. my friend jimmy made the BEST! mix tapes ever! for me they were the gateways into the music world that i was not a part of. each mix was so different and creative and supplied a soundtrack to my younger years. from metal/power violence to idny/punk to easy going classic rock they were loved equally the same. I lost a few over the years and wished that i was a little more careful with my things but the ones i still have i listened to so much i don't know how they even play. in conclusion to my ramble, this cyber world in which we live is making the art of the mix tape nonexistent and it totally sucks. we can either bring them back or do the internet thing. which in this case i went the web route.
